Susie Lynn - Makeup Artist
Susie Lynn is a makeup artist from Los Angeles who specializes in bridal makeup. She’s super cool and personable and wanted a logo that reflected her personality and her style. She loves soft, girly, and slightly edgy styles so she opted for a handwritten font with a clean looking subtext. As she does both general makeup and bridal party makeup, she wanted two separate options.
Based on the ideas she brought to me, I first drafted up some ideas for the handwritten element of the logo and also chose some fonts that I thought might pair nicely with them. She had also mentioned she liked pink so I included some watercolor brush marks in case she wanted to have a subtle background to her logo.
Susie ended up liking option 1 from the first draft sheet for the actual scripting of her name, but liked the texture of option 6. I combined those two elements to get two different handwritten options, paired with two of the fonts that she liked the most. Susie loved how 1a turned out, so we went with that script and that font.
After some vectorizing and cleaning up the logo some, these are the final versions of her logo!
